If you are experiencing issues with your iPad, updating your iPad's iOS software will usually solve the problem!
If you are using a CheckpointID-issued iPad - please follow these steps:
Go to: Settings > General > Software Update > Install Now (Note: your iPad will need to be connected to Wi-Fi and possibly plugged in.)

If the iPad is not able to download the iOS, there is a problem with your internet connection. Just because you see the WiFi signal on the top of the iPad, that does not necessarily mean you are online. Make sure you are fully connected to the internet (try loading a webpage in Safari) and give this another try!
